Major General Guy C. Swan III, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Commanding General, United States Army North/Fifth United States Army, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He recently served as Chief of Staff, Multi-National Force-Iraq, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq.

Brigadier General William N. Phillips, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Military Deputy/Director, Army Acquisition Corps, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), Washington, DC. He is currently serving as Commander, Joint Contracting Command, Multi-National Force-Iraq, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq.

Army Lt. Gen. David M. Rodriguez has been nominated for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as commander, International Security Assistance Force Joint Command. Rodriguez is currently serving as the deputy commander, U.S. Forces Afghanistan.

Army Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell IV has been nominated for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as commander, Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan/commander, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Training Mission-Afghanistan.
