Brigadier General McMahon was recently announced as Commanding General, United States Army Engineer Division, Southwestern, Dallas, Texas.

Colonel (Promotable) Mark S. Martins, Chief, International and Operational Law Division, Office of The Judge Advocate General, United States Army, Arlington, Virginia to Special Assistant to The Judge Advocate General, United States Army, Arlington, Virginia and further detailed to Deputy Commander, Detainee Operations, Combined Joint Interagency Task Force - 435, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, Afghanistan. Colonel (Promotable) Martins was recently announced as Commander, United States Army Legal Services Agency/Chief Judge, United States Army Court of Criminal Appeals, Arlington, Virginia.

He is currently serving as Commanding General, United States Army Accessions Command/Deputy Commanding General for Initial Military Training, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Virginia.

Lieutenant General John D. Gardner, United States Army, for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Deputy Commander, United States European Command, Germany. He is currently serving as Deputy Commander, Allied Land Component Command, Heidelberg, Germany.

Lieutenant General Frank G. Helmick, United States Army, for reappointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Commanding General, XVIII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He is currently serving as Commander, Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq/Commander, NATO Training Mission-Iraq, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, Iraq.

Major General Mark P. Hertling, United States Army, for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as Deputy Commanding General, Individual Military Training, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Virginia. He is currently serving as Special Assistant to the Commanding General, United States Army Training and Doctrine Comamnd, Fort Monroe, Virginia.

Colonel James V. Young, Jr., United States Army Reserve, for promotion to the grade of brigadier general. He is currently serving as Commander, (Troop Program Unit), Military Intelligence Readiness Command, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
